2. Can you still shave while getting laser hair removal?
Yes. You can shave in between sessions of laser hair removal. During the course of the treatment you can shave any hair that may regrow. You won’t need to shave as much once you’ve completed your sessions.
3. What do I avoid after laser hair removal?
Do not pick, scratch, wax, thread or tweeze the area. Do not use any other hair removal methods or products, other than shaving, on the treated area during the course of laser treatments. Avoid steam, sauna, swimming for upto 72 hours post treatment.
4. How do I prepare for laser hair removal?
Stop plucking, waxing or bleaching the area of treatment. Avoid sun exposure for at least a week prior to treatment.
5. How many sessions will I need?
Follow-up treatments are necessary to get the most out of laser hair removal. The exact number of maintenance laser treatments varies by individual. You also need to space these out by 4-6 weeks depending on the area to be treated.
6. Does LHR have any long term side effects?
All side effects that may occur are temporary.
7. What are the possible side effects?
The most common side effects are minor and last 1 to 3 days. These side effects include discomfort, swelling, redness.
8. What can you not do during laser hair removal?

9. How long after laser can I shower?
To limit skin irritation after laser hair removal, you shouldn’t take a hot shower or a hot bath for 48 hours. If you want to bathe or shower, keep the water at a lukewarm temperature. This is because you want to avoid excess heat on the targeted areas of your laser treatment.
10. How long after laser will hair fall out?
What happens right after the treatment? Do the hairs fall out right away? In many patients the skin is slightly pink for 1-2 days; in others (generally, fairer patients) there is no pinkness after laser hair removal. Hairs begin to fall out in 5-14 days and may continue to do so for weeks.
