1. How long do the effects of a HydraFacial last?
Typically, the results of HydraFacial last 3-4 weeks. Fortunately, you can keep coming back to get HydraFacial treatments every month.
2. What are the side effects of HydraFacial?
Mild side effects like redness may occur, which subsides within 30 mins or so.
3. How often should I get HydraFacial?
You can have HydraFacial every 4 weeks.
4. Does HydraFacial remove blackheads?
HydraFacial is a very effective treatment for blackheads. It cleans pores thoroughly.
5. Can I wear makeup after HydraFacial?
Yes, you can wear makeup and resume normal activities immediately after HydraFacial.
6. What should you not do before and after Hydra Facial?
Don’t use any exfoliating treatments, like glycolic acid or enzymes, for at least 48 hours after the treatment. Don’t use over-the-counter acne medications, like benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid, for at least 48 hours after treatment. Avoid intense heat for at least 24 hours after treatment.
7. Why does my skin look worse after Hydra Facial?
The salicylic acid actually is a decongestant. So it goes into the skin and it actually pulls out, unclogs the pores and pulls out whatever’s in the skin. And because the Hydra facial in general is a deep cleansing treatment, it’s completely normal to have breakouts afterwards.
8. Do you peel after a Hydra Facial?
The answer is, it depends on the skin. A Hydra Facial is a great way to treat your skin, but if your skin is already very sensitive, if it has lots of dead skin or you never had a facial before there is a chance of very mild peeling.
9. How do you wash your face after a HydraFacial?
Washing your face removes the nutrient-rich products that are part of the HydraFacial (HF), while sweating can clog pores and irritate fresh tissues. With this in mind, you should avoid heat for the first 24 hours following treatment. Opt for a tepid shower over one that’s steaming-hot.
10. Does HydraFacial remove dark spots?
These frustrating dark brown spots can develop due to age, sun exposure, or hormonal changes. They often create an uneven skin tone and can be difficult to conceal. The HydraFacial fades dark spots over time by consistently exfoliating the skin and making way for new, evenly pigmented skin.
